
Susan Larkin, Vice President & Market Manager - CMG Orlando Radio
Susan’s career in radio broadcasting has spanned nearly 25 years. Susan graduated from SUNY in Oswego , New York with a BA in Broadcasting. After graduating, Susan began her radio career as an Account Manager in Syracuse, New York and then Tampa, Florida. Susan then moved to Columbus, Ohio where she worked as an Account Manager then promoted to National Sales Manager for Jacor Communications’ 6 radio stations. From there, Susan was offered a General Sales Manager position at ABC/Disney’s 3 Radio stations in Minneapolis, MN where she worked for eight years. She joined Cox Media Group - Orlando Radio (formerly Cox Radio Orlando) in 2006 as Vice President & General Manager of two of Orlando’s heritage radio station’s WDBO-AM and WWKA-FM. Since her appointment in 2006, Susan has continued add responsibilities to her position most recently being named Vice President and Market Manager for Cox’s 6 radio stations in March 2010. Susan has also been active in the radio community, serving as Chapter President of American Women in Radio and Television in Minneapolis, Columbus and Tampa. In addition, Susan served on the Radio Advertising Bureau’s (RAB) Sales Advisory Committee. Presently, Ms. Larkin sits on the board of The Ronald McDonald House of Central Florida and The Florida Association of Broadcasters.
Debbie Morel, Vice President & General Manager - CMG Orlando Radio
Debbie Morel’s career in radio broadcasting has spanned over 29 years, 25 of those years have been with Cox. Currently, Debbie serves as Vice President and General Manager for three of Orlando’s radio stations, WCFB-FM, WHTQ-FM & WWKA-FM. In her role as Vice President and General Manager, Debbie oversees operations for three stations as well as the operations of the successful Cox Events Group, known as CEG, CMGDigital and Cox Marketing Services. Debbie was appointed to the position of Vice President and General Manager in August of 1996. For seven years prior to her appointment with CMG Orlando (formerly Cox Radio Orlando), Debbie served as Director of Sales for Cox Radio Chicago. She started her career with Cox Radio as an Account Manager in 1984. Prior to joining Cox Radio, Ms. Morel worked for NBC Radio as an Account Manager in Chicago, Illinois. Debbie is also a member of American Women in Radio and Television, served on the Board for the American Cancer Society and is currently serving on the Board for the Orlando Farmers Market. Debbie has a BA in Radio and Television with a minor in Marketing from Southern Illinois University (SIU) in Carbondale, IL. She is joined in Orlando by her husband Marc.
Len Shackelford, Operations Manager - CMG Orlando Radio
Len began his radio career at the age of 15, working at various stations doing news, play-by-play sports, production, and gaining other valuable experience through high school and college. He holds an undergraduate degree in Communications and a Masters degree in Broadcast Research from the University of Georgia. Len’s experience in radio includes research, consulting, acquisitions, programming and operations. He served as Director of Research for both Patrick Communications and Sterling Communications in Washington, DC. Len has programmed WSTH, Columbus, Georgia, WSSL, Greenville, South Carolina, and been Operations Manager for Curtis Media Group in Raleigh, North Carolina, including WQDR and WKIX. He has been with Cox Media Group for 11 years, programming WWKA, Orlando, and recently was appointed as Operations Manager for the company’s 6-station Orlando group. Len has been married for 25 years, and has two children.
Clayton Nix, Controller - CMG Orlando Radio
Clayton began working in radio in 1994 when he took a job in financial planning with Brown Broadcasting in Los Angeles. Rapid consolidation after the passage of the 1996 Telecommunications Act marked Brown Broadcasting’s exit from the radio industry but also presented an opportunity for Clayton with Chancellor Media as a controller for one of their Los Angeles properties, KYSR Star 98.7. After the Cox Radio swap with AMFM in 1999/2000 Clayton took over as controller at the former Cox properties KFI/KOST – his first exposure to how Cox manages properties. In 2002 a call came in describing an opportunity at the Cox Radio Orlando cluster. Clayton came out and interviewed with the Orlando management team and . . . . he has never looked back! With over 20 years of experience in business unit financial management, including over 8 with Hughes Aircraft in an electronic manufacturing environment, Clayton brings a broad base of business and financial experience to the job. He has an MBA from the University of Southern California. Away from work Clayton enjoys spending time with family whether relaxing on a weekend or traveling and exploring the southeast.
JC Campese, Director - COX Events Group and Digital Sales
JC’s radio career started as a college promotions intern. That internship led to a part time job, then on to a position of Promotions Coordinator. JC eventually was the Marketing Director of a three station cluster prior to joining COX in 2000. For the past seven years JC has led the Orlando based COX Events Group that is a department built to generate non spot, event dollars by creating, managing, and producing some of the largest events in Central Florida. COX Events Group (CEG) produces all of our radio station events as well as events for the Cities of Orlando, Winter Park, Kissimmee and Mt Dora. CEG also produces and manages events for corporate partners including the “Fan” events surrounding Orlando’s two premier College Football Bowl Games: The Champs Sports Bowl and the Capital One Bowl. In late 2009, JC received the opportunity to add Digital Sales Manager to his responsibilities. In addition to his almost 20 year Radio Career, JC is the proud husband to Julieann and the father of two children, Luke and Mia.
Jeanne Griswold, National Sales Manager - CMG Orlando
Jeanne started her career as a media planner for Grey Advertising in California after graduating from the University of Illinois. After two years in in planning and buying, she moved to Florida and began her career in radio sales in the Florida panhandle in 1989. Over the course of 10 years in the panhandle, she was a local account manager, regional account manager, General Sales Manager and National Sales Manager. She moved to Orlando to work for Cox and started as a local account manager with WDBO in 2000. Jeanne has long had a passion for National Sales - which she refers to as the best job in radio - and in 2007 she became the National Sales Manager for the Cox Radio Orlando cluster leading the cluster to great success in the National Sales area. Jeanne has been happily married for 15 years to Clay, a C-130 Navigator, is the proud stepmother of Allison, a new Loyola Law Graduate, and a newly adopted 4 year old Labrador Retriever named Bella, who truly runs the house.
Tammie Gunn, General Sales Manager - WWKA-FM & WCFB-FM
Prior to Tammie’s career in Radio, she was an Executive Director for the American Cancer Society for 5 years. In June 2003, she started her career in Radio in Fort Myers-Naples and after 3 years as an Account Manager was recruited by Cox Radio Orlando. In June 2006 Tammie’s career with Cox Radio began as an Account Manager with WWKA (K92-FM). After 2 years she was promoted to the Local Sales manager for WDBO (AM 580) in Orlando. And in November 2009, was given the opportunity to become the General Sales manager of WWKA (K92-FM.) She is now General Sales manager for WCFB (Star 94.5) as well! One of her greatest joys is helping clients get the most from their marketing funds so they can grow their business and helping Account Managers succeed in a client-focused environment. In her downtime, Tammie can be found shuttling her 3 wonderful children to their various sports practices.
Jimmy Farrell, General Sales Manager - WDBO-AM & FM
Jimmy's radio career began as an intern while in high school in Charlotte North Carolina at Gorilla Radio. Once in College at the University of Miami he interned again at WHQT Hot105 in sales, promotions and on-air as JJ Skye. He found his first paying job in 1992 at WDZL -TV Miami working overnights in Master Control. He later held the positions of writer/producer editor, Events Coordinator, Marketing Manager and Sales Executive as WDZL became WBZL (Tribune Broadcasting) and the WB affiliate. He then was lured back to his love "Radio" as an Account Manager for WKIS the country station in Miami (Beasley Broadcasting). In 2003 Jimmy moved to Orlando as an Account Manager for WWKA after two and a half years he became Local Sales Manager for 9 months and then General Sales Manager. In November of 2009 Jimmy was offered the General Sales Manager position for news talk AM 580 WDBO. 8 years total with Cox this coming February.
Chris Ganoudis, General Sales Manager - WMMO-FM
Chris’ love for music drove his decision to leave his Psychology major and to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Radio/Television. While finishing his last term at the University of Central Florida, Chris began his radio career in 1985 as traffic director of Rock 100, WDIZ in Orlando. Once he entered the exciting field of sales, he knew that Radio was in his blood. It was the Spring of 1993 when Chris was promoted to GSM of WGRX-FM in Baltimore where he truly learned the importance of recruiting, hiring and maintaining the talent needed to make a sales team the most successful they can possibly be. April of 1995, he returned to Orlando to work for 98.9 WMMO. After a successful regional sales position, Chris was promoted to LSM in 1998 and eventually GSM in 2003. Chris has enjoyed every aspect of Radio sales leadership and enjoys finding, training and retaining some of the best people in the business. Outside of his career, Chris has been married to his wife Renee for 23 years, has 2 children and a love for Rock n Roll and Classic cars.
Ken Marks, General Sales Manager - WPYO-FM
Ken came to us with more than 17 years experience in radio. Ken spent the last 15 years at 103.1 WLOQ-FM in Orlando. For the last 3 years, he has held the position of VP/General Manager. He started at WLOQ as an Account Manager and has held the positions of LSM, NSM, GSM and DOS prior to assuming his GM role. Ken was also the Vice President & General Manager for Orlando Home and Leisure & CEO Magazine, before Gross Communications sold the publication last year. Ken began his career with Cox Media Group Orlando Radio in March 2010.
Steve Holbrook, Program Director - WDBO-AM & FM
Steve’s career began with college radio in 1970…right place at the right time…walking through the student union he heard music coming from behind a door, opened it and saw someone playing records. Long story made short, he joined the campus radio station…after two air shifts he thought, you can get paid to do this?! After college rather than go off and teach like his brothers before him, he decided to try his hand in radio. After getting the cold shoulder at 30+ stations, Steve came across a desperate PD who hired him on the spot. Steve began working 9am – 12n at WEEX in Easton in 1974. In 1977, Steve moved to Mobile, AL working afternoon drive, his first experience at a Country music station. Became Program Director in 1979, taking 95KSJ to the #1 ranked radio station in America in total share in the Fall of 1980. Relocated to Orlando in 1982 to put a new station on the air, K92-FM which debuted in January 1983. In 1987 became the Operations Manager for then New City Communications. In 1994, as a favor to Dick Ferguson, Steve and one other New City PD headed to London England to help launch the first and only 24 hour country music station in Europe, Country 1035 which debuted with Garth Books on the air, September of ’94. During his long career at CMG-Orlando Radio, Steve has taken on many added responsibilities. In 1995, he became PD of WCFB, Star 94.5 and in the Fall of 2004 became the PD of News Talk AM 580 WDBO. Steve is married with 2 sons and 1 grandchild.

Stevie began living his childhood dream in Baltimore at the age of 16. Juggling high school, after school baseball practices/games, a part-time job at Athlete’s Foot, and a few hours a week in the research department at B104…it was radio that floated to the surface over the next few years. Stevie enrolled in college at the University of Maryland Baltimore County in the Fall of 1991, and at the same time quickly started progressing in his early radio career. By the age of 19, Stevie was hired on full-time to handle nights at Radio One’s WERQ (92Q) in Baltimore. He spent the next 6 years at 92Q before getting the call from a former PD to come to Orlando. Between nights, then afternoons, and Music Director – 102 Jamz/Orlando served home to Stevie from 1997 until 2000. In 2000, Stevie was tapped for nights at Jamn’ 94.5 in Boston. After just a year at Jamn, Stevie’s former station, 102 Jamz in Orlando had a PD opening and he found his way back to Orlando to program. In late 2007, after a lunch meeting with then-GM Brian Elam, Stevie began the interview process with Cox Orlando that would result in Stevie joining WPYO as Program Director/Mid-days. Stevie has been with Cox for the past 3 years.
Michael Saunders, Program Director- WCFB -FM & WMMO-FM
With over 20 years in the music industry Michael Saunders has made quite a name for himself. His career started off in 1982 when he became the operations manager for WPEG and WBAV in Charlotte, North Carolina. In 1994 Michael had the honor of being the artist manager for some of the world’s best artist such as BeBe & CeCe Winans, Tony Toni Tone, Stephanie Mills, and Luther Vandross. Since then his career has been nonstop as to being the program and operations manager for various radio stations in Los Angeles, Detroit, Washington D.C., New York, and Orlando. Michael has joined the Cox family this year and we are delighted to have his talents on our team!
Nina Ramos, Digital Production Director - CMG Orlando Radio
Nina began her career at Cox Media Group as a sales assistant for 95.3 Party right out of college. After 3 months she began her career in the digital division as a web producer. Over the past 5 years, Nina has served as the Digital Production Director overseeing the development of the cluster websites, email marketing, social media properties as well as building sales assets.
Dina Pancoast, Director of Client Resources - CMG Orlando Radio
Dina has been with Cox Media Group in Orlando since 2001. Dina works with the advertisers of all six Cox Media Group Orlando radio stations to develop marketing campaigns that achieve results. She is a certified Creative Problem Solving and Marketing Strategy Model facilitator and has facilitated sessions for hundreds of Central Florida businesses including Walt Disney World, MetroPCS, The City of Orlando, Goodwill Industries and NASCAR. Dina has a BA from Sarah Lawrence College in New York and is currently adjusting to life as a new mom.

Shawn Bartelt, Vice President & General Manager - CMG Orlando TV
Shawn was born in Key West, raised in Florida, and has enjoyed an extensive sales career through that state. After being graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Broadcasting, she began her career in television news at WWSB (Sarasota) and WMBB (Panama City) as a reporter and weekend anchor. Shawn was hired by Storer Cable in Sarasota to head up the launch of Local Origination and Public Access programming for Sarasota County. In the mid-80's, she moved into sales, first in local cable and then back to WWSB as an account executive and later National Sales Manager. In 1990, she was named National Sales Manager of WESH (Orlando) and moved in 1993 to Tampa as Local Sales Manager at WTOG. In 1994, Shawn started a six year stint as General Sales Manager of WPBF-TV (West Palm Beach). In 2000, Shawn joined Cox at WSOC/WAXN (Charlotte) as Director of Sales for the duopoly.
Shawn's family includes two children, Erin Elizabeth, 13, and Jon Cameron, 11, as well three dogs. Shawn is on the Board of the Economic Development Commission, and Citrus Sports, is on the Marketing Committee for the United Way, and Mentors two children in Orange County Public Schools.
John Demshock, Engineering Director - CMG Orlando TV
John has been in TV since the age of 19 when he joined KHOU (CBS) Houston as an audio operator, while attending the school of Engineering at the University of Houston. KHOU’s owners sent John to jobs at WANE & WISH as Chief Engineer, before returning to KHOU in the same capacity. Along the way, John completed the Purdue University Engineering in Management programs, and the Rollins MBA for executive programs. The chance to move from Houston to Orlando came in the late 80’s. WESH became John’s new home as Director of Engineering, and later VP of Engineering for then-owner Pulitzer Broadcasting. He departed with the sale to Hearst, to form a multi-media and engineering consulting firm. John joined Cox 10 years ago and has never been happier.
Bill Funke, General Sales Manager - WFTV & WFTV.com
Bill began his career in television sales in the early 90’s as a National Rep with Petry in NY and began his career with Cox/TeleRep in 1995. He worked with strong news/revenue leaders including WSB-Atlanta, WFAA-Dallas, WTTG/Washington and WFTV-Orlando. He joined the WFTV sales team in 1998 as NSM, was promoted to LSM in 2002 and later to GSM in 2007. Bill holds a B.A. in Economics from St. Lawrence University in NY. Happily married to Suzanne for the past 13 years they have 3 sons -Taylor, Creighton and Egan.
Bob Jordan, News Director - CMG Orlando TV
Bob worked his way through The University of Minnesota as a disc jockey-news reporter and has been in television – and primarily television news – ever since. Bob is currently on his third stint as News Director at WFTV, having first come to the station in 1976 and News Director and anchor. Bob served as News Director at stations in Minneapolis, Seattle, Los Angeles and Tampa. He returned to WFTV in 2002 after serving as General Manager of the NBC affiliate in West Palm Beach. Bob is a self described ‘news junkie’ who thrives on competition and challenges.
John Keyes, Programming Director - CMG Orlando TV
Before joining Cox in 2000, John worked as a radio announcer and worked professionally in the recording industry as manager of an independent label. Initially, John joined Cox as Programming Coordinator for WRDQ. He has since been promoted three times and is currently Program Manager for WFTV & WRDQ. John is a graduate of Bethune-Cookman University and grew up in South Florida.

Mario started his broadcast career in 1984 with WFTS-TV in Tampa. Over his 26 year career, Mario has polished his Leadership Skills at major markets that include: Tampa: 5 Years as a Local Sales Account Executive at WFTS, WTOG and WTSP. New York: 3 Years as a National Sales Manager and National Spot Rep with Telemundo and WNJU-TV. Los Angeles: 3 Years as Local Sales Manager for Univision’s # 1 station, KMEX-TV and National Spot sales manager.

Matt’s 25-year broadcast career began as an editor/intern in the Austin bureau of WFAA-TV. His career has taken him from Texas to South Carolina, Ohio, New York and Orlando. He has held nearly every position available in television newsrooms including reporter, photographer, anchor, producer, executive producer, and news director. During Matt’s 12-year career at WFTV, he has served as Executive Producer of Special Projects, Executive Producer of Reporting, Managing Editor of WFTV.com and is in his current role as Managing Editor, WFTV. He received a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Texas at Austin.
Keenan Pendergrass, Director of Research - CMG Orlando TV
A graduate of Middle Tennessee State University School of Communications, Keenan has held a variety of positions in his career from on-air talent to sales finally moving into management with Scripps Howard ABC affiliate WCPO as Research Director in 1992. Keenan joined WFTV in 1998 and oversees all aspects of station research and audience development, working closely with each department to identify, develop and execute strategic plans that grow both audience and revenue. In addition to research, other responsibilities include helping to oversee cable retransmission compliance and station community affairs. Keenan served as the Cox Television Representative for the Nielsen Policy Guideline Committee for 4 years, and was the Marshall Client Advisory Council National Chairman in 2000. Currently, Keenan is a member of the NAB Coalition of Local Audience Measurement (COLTAM) representing Cox Television Stations and Co - Chair of the ABC Research Advisory Board.
Scot Post, Director of Finance & Administration - CMG Orlando TV
A graduate of Michigan State University business school, Scot joined Cox in 1984 after obtaining his CPA Certificate working in Public Accounting. After a stint in Cox Audit Services and as business manager of Manheim’s California Auto Dealers Exchange, Scot joined WFTV in 1988. Scot has been significantly involved in growing Cox TV Orlando from one television station to multiple TV stations and internet sites. These added business units now account for nearly 20% of TV-Orlando’s combined revenue.
Dan Prudhomme, Digital Sales Director – CMG Orlando WFTV/WRDQ/wftv.com
Dan has 10+ years of digital sales results at national, regional and local sites. He has 15+ years in sales/marketing in both digital and traditional media that includes television, newspaper and radio. He has over 10 years with Cox. He joined CMG Orlando TV in 2008 as the Internet Sales Manager. He was promoted in 2010 to Digital Sales Director and assumed responsibilities for CMG Orlando TV and Radio regarding Yahoo! sales. Dan holds a B.S. from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Dan is married with two children.
Chip Reif, Director of Operations - CMG Orlando TV
Chip’s first position at WFTV was in 1969 as a camera operator. Since then he’s served as a director, writer, producer and director of retail services, production manager and engineering manager. Over the years, Chip accumulated over thirty awards for his work, including Emmys, Addys, and Irises. He’s a graduate of the University of Florida.
Bob St.Charles, Creative Services Director - CMG Orlando TV
Bob comes from a TV family. His father, Ron, spent over 40 years in television and is a member of the NATAS Silver Circle. Bob grew up in the studio as talent in commercials and even on Romper Room in Philadelphia. Since those early days, Bob has spent 28 years writing and producing for commercials, promotions and programming in 6 different markets, but he found his home with Cox 10 years ago first working at WSB in Atlanta and now at WFTV/WRDQ. He has grown the Creative Services Department at WFTV/WRDQ from Promotions and Graphics to now include Retail Production and Community Affairs. Bob attended the highly respected TV Production School at Ohio University in Athens.
