ATLANTA – July 27, 2017 – Cox Media Group’s 97.1 The River (WSRV-FM/Atlanta), Atlanta’s Classic Hits, celebrated their 11th birthday with The River’s Rockin’ Birthday Bash on Sunday, July 16, 2017 at Verizon Amphitheatre in Alpharetta, GA with a concert from Steve Miller Band with Peter Frampton!
The venue was filled with nearly 6,000 fans who rocked the night away to a mix of deep cuts and hits from Steve Miller Band and Peter Frampton. The event was a party from start to finish, with an interactive photo booth, a private VIP section, and the opportunity for listeners to meet station personalities Steve Craig, Kaedy Kiely and English Nick at the live pre-show broadcast.
