HOUSTON – March 31, 2015 – Cox Media Group (CMG) Houston’s Alana Lujan is named to Radio Ink magazine’s 2015 list of Future African-American leaders. Lujan, General Sales Manager, is one of 20 honorees nationwide who were nominated by their leaders for their contributions in helping shape strategic change in the radio industry. Hundreds of submissions were voted on by a panel of experienced managers from across the industry. Lujan joins Dawn Campbell of Orlando, FL in representing CMG.

Lujan has been with CMG for nine years. Her career includes five years as Account Manager for KKBQ/KTHT, eight months at the Austin American-Statesman, one year as local sales manager and two years as general sales manager for the CMG Houston cluster. She is currently involved with the Media Classic, an annual charity golf tournament benefitting Advertising Education Foundation, Dreamfund, and The Houston Food Bank.
