Bob Jordan Named News Director of KIRO 7 Eyewitness News


SEATTLE – July 11, 2012 – KIRO 7 Eyewitness News announced that Bob Jordan has been named News Director for the station.  For the past ten years Jordan has served as the news director for WFTV, the Cox Media Group owned ABC affiliate in Orlando. Jordan will begin his new post in August.

 O’Connor added, “In addition to leading our team, Bob and his wife, Sharon, will be able to enjoy time with their daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren who are right here in Seattle.”

Prior to his last stint at WFTV, Jordan served as News Director at stations in Orlando, Minneapolis, Seattle, Los Angeles, and Tampa.

Jordan is a graduate of the University of Minnesota.
