TULSA – Oct. 7, 2014 – KOKI-TV and KMYT-TV Vice President and General Manager, Greg Bilte announced today that Cathy Gunther has been named General Sales Manager for both stations. In this role, Gunther will be responsible for the oversight of advertising sales and revenue.
“I couldn’t be happier that Cathy is coming to Tulsa to be General Sales Manager of KOKI-TV at KMYT-TV” said Bilte. “Cathy has a wide range of experience both in business and in television that has brought great results. She’s going to be an excellent leader as we move forward with collaboration with CMG Radio Tulsa and COX Communications.”
Gunther has many years of experience in the Sales and Business industries, having most recently worked as Local Sales Manager for KTVU-TV in the San Francisco Bay Area. Prior to this role, she was the Business Development Manager for KTVU-TV’s duopoly station, KICU-TV.
Previously, she was the Digital Sales Manager for the Cowles California Media group. Cathy also worked for KCOY CBS 12 and KKFX FOX11 in Santa Barbara, CA, where she served as the Director of New Technology and later as the Local Sales Manager. Gunther was also co-owner of Estes Park Media Center, which included Airbits, Inc., the first high speed internet service provider to businesses in the Estes Valley in Colorado.

Cathy is moving to Tulsa with her husband Curt and two teenage boys, Cameron & Carson, and is very excited to be moving to explore the Tulsa area, especially Turkey Mountain!
