CMG Atlanta Radio Names Amanda Allwood asNew Promotion’s Director

Thursday, June 16, 2016 — ATLANTA – June 16, 2016 – Cox Media Group (CMG) Atlanta Radio has named Amanda Allwood as its new Promotions Director, beginning Monday, June 27. In this role, Allwood will oversee promotions and event marketing for B98.597.1 The RiverKiss 104.1 FM and News 95.5 FM and AM 750 WSB

“Amanda has the critical eye that we need to take our events and promotions efforts to the next level,” said Chris Eagan, CMG Atlanta’s Director of Branding and Programming for B98.5 and 97.1 The River. “She understands how crucial it is to integrate sales, programming in digital in to one super power to make these radio brands sparkle!” 

Prior to joining CMG Atlanta Radio, Allwood was at Sirius / XM in New York where she spent the last four years as senior manager of promotions and event marketing. Her other career highlights include promotions director for CBS Radio in Tampa and numerous promotions and marketing positions for CMG in Tampa and Orlando. 

“I was fortunate to spend the first several years of my career in both CMG’s Tampa and Orlando clusters,” said Allwood. “Joining CMG Atlanta Radio is like coming back to family. I am thrilled to be part of this incredible team and cannot wait to move back down South and make awesome promotions and events happen in Atlanta!”
