CMG Houston and Tulsa Radio Named 2013 NAB Marconi Winners

ATLANTA – Sept. 20, 2013 – The 2013 National Association of Broadcasters Marconi Radio Awards named Houston’s KKBQ as Country Station of the Year and Tulsa’s KRMG as Medium Market Station of the Year in Orlando on Sept. 19.

The prestigious awards recognize radio’s outstanding personalities and stations. Marconi finalists were selected by a task force of broadcasters, and the winners were voted on by the NAB Marconi Radio Awards Selection Academy. The votes were tabulated by an independent firm.

“It was a privilege to be in the audience last night and feel the energy surge of pride with Houston and Tulsa,” said CMG President Bill Hoffman.  “It was equally prideful to see all of our other great properties recognized as best of class in being nominated. What a truly great night for CMG Radio!”
