CMG Miami Names as Night Host for WEDR-FM 99 Jamz

MIAMI – Jan. 7, 2015 It’s a new year, and Cox Media Group (CMG) Miami has named radio personality DJ Nailz as its new evening on-air host for WEDR-FM 99 Jamz. DJ Nailz  ̶ Marc Dixon  ̶  is no stranger to South Florida, as he grew up a huge fan of WEDR/99 Jamz and has family in the city.  

“We are thrilled that DJ Nailz will be joining 99 Jamz,” said CMG Miami VP and General Manager Rob Babin.  “He has been such a key player for Power 95.3/ Cox Media Group Orlando, and we look forward to his continued success here at Cox Media Group Miami!” 

A Bethune-Cookman College graduate, DJ Nailz comes to CMG Miami from sister station WPYO/Power 95.3 in Orlando where he has worked the past five years. 

“DJ Nailz brings an energy and true passion for the Hip-Hop Culture that made him No. 1 in Orlando and the perfect fit for South Florida,” added WEDR’s Director of Branding and Programming Derrick Baker. “Whether it’s the BET Awards in Los Angeles or interviewing Queen Latifah or DJ Khaled, Nailz is a true talent, and we are glad he decided to move his talents back to South Beach.”
