Cox Media Group Atlanta Names Kris Lucas New Co-General Sales Manager

ATLANTA – Oct. 15, 2013 Cox Media Group (CMG) Atlanta radio has named Kris Hackett Lucas as its new co-General Sales Manager of stations WSB-FM B98.5, WALR KISS 104.1 FM and WSRV 97.1 FM The River, effective Nov. 18.  Lucas will partner with co-GSM Adam Wolfson to lead the cluster’s sales teams in the highly-competitive Atlanta market.

“I couldn’t be more excited to add Kris to our CMG Atlanta radio management team as Co-GSM over our Music stations,” said CMG Atlanta Radio Director of Sales Walt Phillips. “Her reputation for developing her people, recruiting future superstars and focusing on what she can control will lead our Music sales team to higher levels.”

Lucas’ career includes seven years of Sales Management experience, formerly with Summit Media Corp in Richmond where she has been a GSM of four radio stations: WKHK, WKLR, WURV, and WHTI. She previously was with CMG before it sold the Richmond cluster to Summit in May of this year.  Prior to Summit and CMG, Lucas was with Clear Channel in Tampa for 12 years, where she was in Sales Management and Account Manager.
