JACKSONVILLE, FL – July 17, 2017 – Cox Media Group (CMG) Jacksonville Radio has named Christy Lendry as its new General Sales Manager (GSM), effective July 24. In this role, Lendry will lead a team of talented multi-media sales professionals who are experts in consumer behavior, representing seven radio stations, Digital Products and Events. Lendry will also serve as Brand Manager for 95.1 WAPE and EASY 106.5. She will also focus on new business, automotive, home improvement, recruiting and growing account managers.

Previously Lendry, a 20-year media veteran, was New Business Sales Manager for CMG’s Jacksonville TV brands, FOX 30 and CBS 47. She has been a part of the CMG family for seven years, focusing on developing new business platforms, leading tier three automotive initiatives and creating integrated marketing strategies. Lendry is originally from Nashville, Tenn. and graduated from Tennessee State University.
