Cox Media Group Memphis Names Ron DeJoseph as New Creative Services Director


MEMPHIS – March 30, 2015 – Ron DeJoseph moves from the Queen City of Charlotte to the Memphis Queen as Cox Media Group (CMG) Memphis’ new Creative Services Director for WHBQ-TV FOX 13. 

“Ron has had a distinguished, 15-year career at Cox Media Group, during which time he has been developing his creative and leadership skills and doing great work for CMG Charlotte’s WSOC-TV,” said CMG Memphis VP and General Manager Paul Briggs. “While in Charlotte, Ron spearheaded the migration and integration of cinema cameras and gear, transforming Creative Services into a one-stop shop to shoot and produce high-end, impactful image campaigns.  We are thrilled to have him join our team.” 
A native of Long Island, NY, DeJoseph began his career at ESPN Regional TV in Charlotte as an editor.  He then joined CMG Charlotte as an editor, was promoted to Executive Producer and then became Promotions Manager at the station. He has won numerous awards, including 10 Emmys for categories in News Image, Sports Image, Animation, PSA’s, and Editing. DeJoseph was also the winner of an ABC Alpha award, a N.C.A.B Best of the Best award and the CMG Charlotte Noogie of the Month award.
