Cox Media Group Orlando Announces Billy Brown as New WMMO-FM Morning Show Host

ORLANDO – Oct. 4, 2013 – Cox Media Group (CMG) Orlando Radio has named radio vet Billy Brown as the new morning show host for its Rock AC WMMO-FM beginning Nov. 4.  Brown will report to WMMO Program Director Hildi Brooks.

Brown is a passionate radio vet, with experience in CHR, Classic Hits and Country.  He has worked in Atlanta, Pittsburg, Tampa, Miami, and New Orleans, as well as the Orlando Market at WOCL from 2008-2010.   Most recently he served as Program Director/Operations Manager and a morning personality at WZZS Country, Zolfo Springs, Fla. 

“From the moment I met Billy, I knew we were going to do great things together”, said WMMO PD Hildi Brooks. “I wish he was starting tomorrow, but he wanted to leave his current radio stations in a healthy state, which speaks to his impeccable work ethic and complete investment in everything he does.  I’m excited for him to become a part of this legendary station.”
