Cox Media Group Orlando Promotes Heather Stricker to General Sales Manager

ORLANDO – Oct. 1, 2013 – Cox Media Group (CMG) Orlando Radio has named Heather Stricker as General Sales Manager of WMMO and WPYO-FM Orlando.  She will report to Tammie McGrath, Director of Sales, CMG Orlando Radio.

Stricker has a long history with CMG Orlando. She joined the cluster in 2003 as a recent graduate of the University of Central Florida as an Account Manager.  She then went on to hold several positions at CMG Orlando including Senior Account Manager for WDBO, where she was a CMG President’s Circle winner in 2011.  Heather has previously served as Local Sales Manager for separately for both WMMO-FM and WPYO-FM and was, most recently, Local Sales Manager for CMG Orlando Radio’s Cluster.

“Heather’s intense business acumen, solid knowledge of our foundation and natural ability as a coach make her a great leader,” said Tammie McGrath. “This new role will allow Heather to leverage her natural strengths and help elevate our cluster to the next level.”

Stricker lives in Orlando with her husband Mark and their 19 month-old son, Colin.
