Cox Media Group San Antonio Names Carey Edwards as New Afternoon Drive Host on KCYY-FM


SAN ANTONIO– Aug. 8, 2013 Cox Media Group (CMG) San Antonio has named Carey Edwards as its new afternoon drive host on KCYY-FM Y100, beginning Aug. 12.   

Carey’s radio career includes a variety of programming roles including Program Director, Music Director and Air Talent in multiple formats. Carey has worked in several large and medium markets including Houston, Austin, Phoenix and Portland, Ore. Most recently, he worked for Sandusky’s KRWM in Seattle.

“I am excited to be back in Texas and back with a great company, Cox Media Group,” said Edwards. “I’ve admired Jeff Garrison’s programming success for over a decade, getting to work with him on such a strong country brand like Y100 will be a treat.”
