Cox Media Group San Antonio Names Keith Hastings as New KISS FM Program Director


SAN ANTONIO – June 6, 2013 – Cox Media Group (CMG) San Antonio has named Keith Hastings as its new Program Director for KISS-FM, effective June 24.

“KISS is one of the legendary rock brands in the nation and I’m excited to have one of the best rock programmers in Keith Hastings take the station to the next level,” said Dan Lawrie, CMG San Antonio VP and Market Manager. “Keith brings strong leadership, creativity and the ability to develop great talent; assets that will help grow The Billy Madison Show and the station as a whole.”

Hastings has worked for some of the most iconic brands in several variations of the rock format. He spent 21 years in total as a Program Director for Saga Communications in markets including Boston and Springfield, Mass., and Milwaukee, Wis. Keith’s career as a rock programmer spans four decades with his most recent role as Program Director at Greater Media’s WCSX in Detroit.
