SAN ANTONIO – Jan. 17, 2014 – For the first time since its launch in 2012 on Cox Media Group San Antonio’s KISS 95.5 FM, “The Billy Madison Show” now airs in syndication on Anchorage’s KZND.
“KZND prides itself on being the most entertaining and interactive radio station in Alaska,” said KZND Program Director Jeetz. “We firmly believe that active rock isn’t only the music, but a lifestyle. So, we’re extremely excited to announce the addition of The Billy Madison Show to our morning lineup. The minute we heard the show, we knew it was a perfect fit for KZND to be the most entertaining show in Anchorage!”
CMG Rock Format Leader and KISS Program Director Keith Hastings said that Billy Madison is No. 1 with adults 25-54 and owns every male demo. “In that time, it’s also been very successful as part of the lineup of CMG stations ‘The Bone’ in Tampa and Rock 103 in Tulsa,” he added.
Executives at KISS have built an external syndication plan for the show, and CMG is actively preparing for additional affiliates in 2014 and beyond. Interested stations can contact Hastings for affiliate information and availability.
