NEW YORK– April 8, 2013 – CoxReps has named Gene Pizzolato as its new President of its Cox Cross Media and Cox Digital Solutions divisions, effective immediately. In this role, Pizzolato will oversee the combined organizations’ strategic development and focus on premium local solutions and audience-driven advertising.

Prior to joining CoxReps, Pizzolato was under special assignment for Gannett Broadcasting, a leading media and marketing solutions company that delivers content and services across an integrated, multi-platform portfolio. There, he spearheaded the record-setting Sales and Marketing effort and execution for the London Olympics and built the Sochi 2014 strategic roadmap, which is being executed today across all Gannett NBC stations.

Pizzolato’s career also includes being a member of the initial leadership team at the Golf Channel, where he held positions of Chief Operating Officer, Chief Revenue Officer and Chief Marketing Officer. During his tenure, Golf Channel valuations rose from $1 billion to $2.4 billion dollars.
