Emmy Award Win for Tulsa’s FOX23 News


TULSA – July 2015 – FOX23 News was honored with an Emmy® Award for excellence in local news broadcasting by The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) Heartland Chapter.

“It’s an honor that our peers are noticing the work the FOX23 News and Severe Weather Team are doing to keep our viewers safe and informed.” says Greg Bilte, Vice President and General Manager for KOKI-TV and KMYT-TV.

“In April 2014, tornadoes devastated small towns in three states.  The FOX23 News team sent reporters to each of those areas to tell stories of survival and recovery.” News Director, Suzanne Nadell continues “Sharing those stories is a privilege the team is honored to have.  Recognition for that work is humbling.”
