ESPN 690 Finalizes Agreement to Become Affiliate Radio Station of the Florida State Seminoles

Relationship Includes Live Football, Men’s Basketball Game Coverage in 2020-21

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Friday, July 31, 2020 Cox Media Group today announced an agreement solidifying ESPN 690 as Florida State University’s official radio affiliate in Jacksonville, as secured by the Seminoles’ multimedia rightsholder, Learfield IMG College. The relationship calls for ESPN 690 to broadcast live all football and men’s basketball games for the upcoming 2020-21 athletics season. This is the first affiliate agreement for ESPN 690 since its debut in Jacksonville in January 2019.

As an affiliate, ESPN 690 will provide play-by-play coverage of the games for listeners and will have exclusive access to team coaches. The ACC unveiled a conference-only football schedule for 2020, slated to begin September 10. The men’s basketball program has yet to announce its schedule.
