MIAMI – Jan. 7, 2011 – Gary Williams now adds Program Director duties for Easy 93.1 FM “Continuous Soft & Easy Favorites” to his Cox Media Group (CMG) Miami portfolio. Williams, who has been with CMG Miami for 10 years and Program Director for 97.3 The Coast for last four, was instrumental in the launch of two stations on the 93.1 frequency in the past month when he launched 93.1 “South Florida’s Official Holiday Music Station” on Nov. 20, 2010 and then turned around and launched Easy 93.1 on Dec. 26.
“I’m excited to see Gary tackle these additional responsibilities,” said CMG Miami VP and General Manager Brian Elam. “During the time of year when most people are busy shopping, decorating their homes, going to parties and squeezing in their job, Gary loaded the music, created programming clocks, wrote and produced imaging, scheduled music, and oversaw logo design and advertising campaigns of two station launches. Simultaneously, he executed his job as Program Director of 97.3 The Coast and earned stellar ratings in Arbitron’s November and December PPM books.”
