Thursday, November 17, 2016 — Cox Media Group (CMG) Miami names Kimmy B as the new Afternoon Drive host for Miami’s CHR Top 40 radio station, WFLC HITS 97.3.

Kimmy started her radio career at COX Media’s WEDR/99 JAMZ in 2004. She was promoted to Morning Show Co-Host of the DJ Laz Morning Show in August 2014. In the summer of 2016, Kimmy began hosting WFLC’s local Sunday Public Affairs Show “Community Convos,” discussing important topics to the South Florida community such as LGBT, breast cancer awareness and the environmental importance of keeping our beaches clean.”

Kimmy grew up in Boston and studied at the University of Miami. She hosted the youth sports television show “Generation Next” and remains very active in community organizations around South Florida.
