Tampa – June 24, 2014 – Cox Media Group (CMG) Tampa has re-signed No. 1 afternoon drive talk show host Mike Calta on 102.5 The Bone, REAL.RAW.RADIO WHPT-FM. Calta’s multi-year contract continues his role as host of the top rated ‘Mike Calta Show’ weekday afternoons from 3-7 p.m.

Originally from Staten Island, NY, he transplanted to the Tampa Bay market in 1989 and has been a prominent local radio host ever since. During this time, Calta perfected and delivered the highest-rated, award winning “Mike Calta Show,” cementing himself as one the most prolific radio talk show hosts in all of talk radio. Formerly known as “Cowhead,” Mike Calta changed his show name earlier this year.
