Seattle’s KIRO 7 Names Michelle Woods General Sales Manager

— Friday, February 24, 2017 — KIRO 7 News has named Michelle Woods as the new General Sales Manager for the Cox Media Group-owned CBS affiliate in Seattle. In this role, Woods is responsible for the oversight of all broadcast sales efforts as well as streaming, website, mobile, and digital channels at a time when the station’s business is growing and ratings continue to increase.

Woods comes to KIRO 7 from WHBQ Television FOX 13 in Memphis, Tenn., where she had served as the General Sales Manager since October 2014. A native of the San Francisco Bay Area, she began her CMG career in July 2004 at KTVU/Fox 2 in San Francisco and served in the rolesof Account Executive, National Sales Manager and Local Sales Manager during her tenure.

Woods is a graduate of UCLA and has multiple certifications in sales management, leadership, and mentorship programs through Cox Media Group.
