Monday, July 25, 2016 — TAMPA – July 25, 2016 – Cox Media Group (CMG) Tampa’s 102.5 The Bone is adding Ian Beckles, long-time Tampa talk personality, to the airwaves to talk sports and so much more beginning Sunday, Aug. 7. Beckles will add sports commentary and bring his blend of pop-culture talk to the station.
“At The Bone, we have the luxury to cover every possible topic throughout the week, from Politics and news, to pop-culture, entertainment, and sports,” said John Brennan, CMG Tampa’s Director of Branding and Programming. “Ian Beckles is one of the best sports talkers out there, and he brings with him credible sports analysis, with the talent to cover all the other topics. Beckles, previously of sports talker WDAE, has been off of the airwaves in Tampa since 2015. “I’m honored to join the Team at 102.5 The Bone,” he said. Sharing the airwaves with Mike Calta and Drew Garabo is gonna be cool.”
The Ian Beckles Show will air every Sunday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. leading into NFL Football. The debut episode is scheduled for Sunday Aug. 7.
