TAMPA, FL – Aug. 15, 2011 – Mike “Cowhead” Calta, host of the No. 1 rated afternoon drive show, The Cowhead Show, inked a new three-year deal with Cox Media Group (CMG) Tampa today.

The July Arbitron radio survey, released on Aug. 9, shows that The Cowhead Show, broadcast live weekday afternoons from 3 p.m. – 7 p.m. on CMG Tampa’s 102.5 The Bone (WHPT-FM), is the most-listened-to show in the Tampa-St. Pete-Clearwater market.  The Cowhead Show is No. 2 with adults 25-54 (7.1 share) and is first in men 25-54 (9.9 share). 

Cowhead has been an on-air talent on Tampa radio since the early ‘90s. For the past five years, The Cowhead Show has broadcast from 102.5 FM The Bone.
