The Q Morning Zoo on KKBQ-FM Recognizes the Post Oak Little League Team

HOUSTON – August 31, 2018 – Cox Media Group Houston’s KKBQ-FM The New 93Q hosted the Houston-based Post Oak Little League team to honor the team’s impressive season and participation in the Little League World Series.

The live broadcast was conducted by Q Morning Zoo DJs (Tim Tuttle, Kevin Kline, Erica Rico) and featured introductions of the players, interviews and on-air trivia contests between players and listeners.

“The boys and the coaches of the Post Oak Little League team represented Houston brilliantly on the world stage,” says CMG Houston Director of Operations Johnny Chiang.  “It was an honor for The New 93Q to host our local champions this morning.”

Chick-fil-A Houston provided breakfast for the crew as well as a guest (Cow) host. The Houston Astros also sent two Shooting Stars to join the celebration.

“We appreciate The New 93Q and everything it has done for the boys, especially all of the coverage,” says Manager David Rook.

John Klosek, assistant coach, also comments, “It was so inspiring to see how this team brought Houston together – touching so many lives.”
