Tulsa, OK — Friday, April 14, 2017 — Cox Media Group (CMG) Tulsa TV Vice President and General Manager Cathy Gunther announced today that Tim Boknecht has been named Creative Services Director for FOX23 (KOKI-TV), My41 (KMYT-TV), and MeTV Tulsa (KOKI-DT2), effective immediately.
“The knowledge and skills Tim brings with him to Tulsa will help our stations build upon the successes we continue to achieve year after year,” says Gunther. “His leadership will help us to grow our local audience and continuously improve the services we provide to our viewers and our advertisers.”
Boknecht comes to Tulsa from Wichita, where he led a Creative Services department servicing both station promotion and commercial production. By directing creative on-air promotions, community initiatives, and corporate partnerships, he helped to grow the station’s share in key demos. Prior to leading the department, Boknecht served the station for several years as a Senior Promotions Producer, handling all phases of media production—from the first ideas on paper, to the finished on-air product.
