Tulsa’s KOKI-TV FOX23 News Expands Weekend Morning Newscasts


TULSA – March 12, 2014 – KOKI-TV and KMYT-TV General Manager, Greg Bilte announced the expansion of FOX23 News This Morning’s weekend edition. Starting Saturday April 5, 2014 FOX23 News This Morning will air Saturdays from 7-10am; and from 6-9am on Sundays. “We are excited to give Green Country news viewers more of the local news coverage they demand.” says Bilte.

Tulsa Native and Award winning journalist Tiffany Alaniz will anchor the expanded FOX23 News This Morning weekend newscast along with Certified Meteorologist and O-U Graduate, Ben Walnick starting Saturday March 15th at 7am. Alaniz’s experience includes covering breaking news and active reporting. Walnick’s storm chasing experience helps strengthen an already strong FOX23 Severe Weather Team, led by Chief Meteorologist James Aydelott.
