Charlotte, NC – March 18, 2o11 – Creating jobs in Charlotte and the local economy were the focus of Channel 9 Eyewitness News Anchor Natalie Pasquarella’s interview with President Barack Obama. The interview with the president will air on Channel 9 Eyewitness News, Monday, March 21st starting at 5 p.m. The exclusive one-on-one took place earlier today at the White House.
WSOC-TV was one of only three television stations in the country allowed sit-down access to the president before his Latin American trip. The trip will highlight the economic benefits of the United States’ relationship with the region.
A Charlotte business, Rhino Assembly Corporation, points directly to its new relationships with three Brazilian companies for sales growth and job creation in the past year. Pasquarella asked the president what he is doing to help other companies in North Carolina and Charlotte to achieve similar success. North Carolina is one of the top 15 states leading exports to Brazil.
